This week down in south Florida, the NFL Competition Committee will discuss
putting a radio receiver in a defensive player's helmet. The NFL has
demonstrated a slow acceptance of technology in the game throughout its history,
but this may be one step forward towards improving the game and giving the
defense the same communication capability as the offense. With the stealing of
radio signals solved by encryption, only those that need to hear, can. I'm
hoping that one day, that will be us, the purple bleeding Vikings fan.....
