Ah, but don’t forget the Brunetti Women’s Coffee
Club ride is just 20km and is aimed at women of all ages and abilities –
meaning those cycling widows who never get on a chance to get on their bikes
because they’re too busy babysitting while their partner is out riding
will be able to.
Surely their partner won’t be out riding the day before
Around the Bay?
This ride is also suitable for those who don’t have time
to train for endurance events, and to do a supported ride with other women. I
know three women (all mums) who have signed up for the event over the weekend.
One who rides everywhere said she doesn’t have time to train; for the
other two, this may be their most challenging ride to date.
Thanks for promoting it David.
Regards, Kathy

Hi Folks,
This is a good event but to my mind the timing is
the issue, and may account for the low registrations.
A lot of the female riders spoken to are focused on
Around the Bay on 19th and this has come out too late
and is too close to have take up.
I'll promote but not hopeful.
Regards
David
