G'day folks

I unsuccessfully suggested this idea when the City of Whitehorse
TravelSmart map was being developed, but I reckon it might be more
timely to suggest the idea now and that is to show (with a special
symbol) on TravelSmart Maps the locations of FREE all day car parking
close to shared path/bike routes into the city at say 5, 10, 15 and
20km radius in a Congestion Buster Program designed and promoted to
encourage folk to leave their cars and ride the last x number of kms
into the city :-)

I notice it is starting to happen along the Gardiners Creek and the
Yarra Trail on this side of town, but maybe a bit of a kick along
wouldn't go amiss and maybe could be sponsored by the fold-up bike
suppliers :-)

Summer is coming and new models of bikes are becoming available - an
ideal time to launch such a program.
