Dear all

 A few of us are going to the EASTLINK festivities to let them know that not everyone thinks the freeway is such a wonderful idea.  We'll be going on the free 30 k ride, wearing t-shirts which puts our point of view, for example, MORE TRAINS, LESS TRUCKS.  It's easy to do with a laundry marker pen.

We'd welcome anyone who feels inclined to join us - of course, you'll need to register for the ride at http://www.bv.com.au/great-rides/41339/

We'll be in the  Cranbourne/Pakenham line departing Flinders Street 8.12am, arriving at YARRAMAN Station at 8.53am.  Join us on the train (in the last carriage if we can all fit) or else at Yarraman station.  We'll ride the back streets to the entry point to EastLink at Cheltenham Road on-ramp.

We could hide our t-shirts under sweaters or whatever, then (once safely on the freeway) all pull our jumpers off at once and chant TRAINS NOT TRUCKS or whatever the group decides on the way there.
