Dear Glenn,
This is all part of Vicroads pro now anti car culture. Unfortunately, like
most motorists, Vicroads are blind to cyclists on the road network.
It is clear Vicroads want cyclists off roads. A similar proposal appeared
in 'Royal Auto' early last year located in Whitehorse Rd. with a facility
for cyclists to speed through the congregating tram commuters at these
extended kerb tram stops.
I guess there is no money to be made our of bicycle parking.
