Clarendon Street Bike danger due to tram priority project. We need   Message List

Whilst we applaud improvements in encouraging the use of public transport
the changes that are being "trialled" in Clarendon Street are dangerous to
cyclists.
The bug has examined the installation and already without the final stages
being completed the situation results in a reduction of safety to cyclists.
You could say it is only one street however if this goes without complaint
then it has the potential to be duplicated through many areas of Melbourne.
We don't want to stop it, we do want the design to allow cyclists to have a
safe passage on Clarendon Street.
Please examine and respond to the word doc flyer and if you know others that
may be concerned then pass on the email to them and encourage them to
contact Council.
