NOT A RACE
Enjoy a course winding through lanes, alleys, tunnels, stairs, bridges and
urban wasteland to the final secret destination, along the way collecting
cards to make a poker hand. Best hand takes the whole cash pool prize. The
slowest rider on the crappiest bike has as much chance as the best, as
long as they ride the whole course and finish.
Starts at the wooden tower, Darebin Parklands, Alphington (Melways 31 C9)
@ 11am, Cup Day, Tues November 6.
$8 Registration opens @ 10 am.
Mountainbike recommended, but you can ride what you want.
Just cos it's in the 'burbs don't mean it aint rough!
info: http://www.deluxebicycleclub.com.au (coming soon)
Most rides go at a social pace, run rain or shine, and are free (like the
streets themselves).
BikeFun depends on people like you to create events and contribute to
Melbourne's creative bike community. Organise a ride (or whatever) and
BikeFun will promote it.
