Sun 29 July - Full Moon Ride on the Darebin Ck trail [BFM]
*****************************************************
Join in on the first Full Moon ride of the new tax year and experience
some of the most spectacular night-time views in metro Melbourne.
It's a mostly gentle 22 km ride along the upper and lower Darebin Creek
trails (OK, there's one big-ish lump in the middle).
We depart Epping Station Sun 29 July 7:30 PM. Moon rise is 16:08 and
sunset at 17:10 so, cloud permitting, we should have a good amount of
moonlight to ride by.
Bring along snacks to share, something to warm your cockles and, of
course, lots of Xmas in July cheer.
$2.50 Sunday Savers tickets apply all day for all zones. Catch the 6:40 pm
Epping Train from Flinders St Station arriving Epping Station at 7:27 PM.

Tue 31 July - "Thin Green Line" film ride [BFM]

Meet at 5:45PM, departing 6:00 sharp
Start: Federation Square, in front of Transport Bar
Ride in a green-tinged mini-mass to the Astor Theatre for the world premiere
of "The Thin Green Line". This documentary film was inspired by the
important, unsung and dangerous work of Park Rangers from around the world,
working on the frontline of conservation. Come for the ride (free!) and stay
for the film too (starts 7:00, tickets $35, includes special musical

Fri 17 Aug - Midnight Mystery Ride [BFM]

Meet 9:30PM, Court House Hotel (front bar), cnr Errol & Queensberry Sts,
Nth Melbourne, departing 10:30.
Return of the midnight mystery ride. We like the bike, we like the night.
Ride for ~5km to our mystery destination where there'll be warmth, cover,
and bikey merriment. Food/beverage stop along the way. Bring fun to
share and dress warm; it's cold out there.
