Hi all,

Just a reminder about the upcoming Sustainable Living Festival on the 17-18
February, see details below from previous email.

In the next couple of days you'll probably receive a phone call from either
Rose (Melb BUG) or me enquiring if your BUG would be interested in coming
along and sharing the double marquee with the Cycling Promotion Fund.

We've booked three 1.8m trestle tables, eight chairs and hopefully will have
the crew from Bike Fix coming along to show bicycle repair tips & skills.

So far there's been a good response, and if you would like
material/promotional stuff from your BUG on the marquee, but can't make it,
please feel free to contact me so it can be arranged to send your material
to CPF.

BTW - Kathy & I are job-sharing this role at CPF now. Kathy's in on Monday,
Thursday and Friday, I'm in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

cheers,

Chris ;)

Hi all,

The Sustainable Living Festival is on February 16-18 at Federation Square,
you may have heard that the Cycling Promotion Fund has booked a large
marquee space to ensure a good cycling presence at the Festival and to
enable Bicycle Users Groups to have a shared display at no cost to
themselves.

For more information on the festival visit: Sustainable Living Festival:
http://www.slf.org.au/festival/

Opening hours are:
Friday: 10am - 6pm (mainly school groups and businesses)
Saturday: 10am - 6pm
Sunday: 10am - 5pm
Entry cost: Free

This will be a great event for promoting cycling and BUG's - with an
estimated 100,000 visitors over the weekend.

As a reciprocal gesture, BUG's choosing to attend are being asked to
organise their own displays, props etc. So start thinking about what theme
and promotional material you would like to bring along.

The space will be a large covered 3 x 6 meter marquee at Federation Square
during the festival. The Cycling Promotion Fund will be sharing this space,
but there will be no dividing wall between the display areas.

If your BUG would be interested in joining in, please answer the following
questions (via email if possible) by **Thursday 25th January** so that we
can start to organise the shared space and also know how many BUG's would
like to attend.

Please don't hesitate to contact Kathy or me: email:
chris@cyclingpromotion.com.au and office@cyclingpromotion.com.au, (Ph: 9818
5400) at Cycling Promotion Fund if you have any questions or want to chat
about the proposed shared marquee.

Cheers,

Chris
