The Victorian Competition & Efficiency Commission has released its draft report on "managing transport congestion" for consultation and input - submissions close 9 June. It's only 530 odd pages long so if you've got nothing to do over the next couple of weeks it might be worth having a read through... There's a fine example of participatory democracy!
I'd like to skim through the relevant sections and put something in on behalf of BrunsBUG, hopefully some others in the group will be keen to take it on too; if other BUGs would like to collaborate with us let me know - with such a whopping big document it'd be good to be able to split up the workload a bit. You'll be shocked, but apparently the cycling content is pretty light on, so the more submissions from cycling groups/individuals, the merrier.
Cheers,
Anna Strempel
