The Velodrome at Bloomer Park and NAS-TRACK Team
Racing announce the appointment of Kacey Manderfield
as Marketing Manager/Operations Director.

Manderfield’s appointment, effective immediately, puts
her in charge of the day-to-day operations of the
bicycle track as well as marketing and event planning
for the Velodrome and the NAS-TRACK Team Racing
League.

“Kacey discovered the track as a spectator, started
riding and is now a national level track racer,” said
Dale Hughes, Chairman of NAS-TRACK. “She’ll continue
to compete on the bike, but now the Velodrome and
NAS-TRACK will benefit from her rare brand of
determination and drive. We are delighted that she is
joining our team.”

In addition to managing velodrome operations,
Manderfield will seek sponsorships for the racing
league as well as the velodrome itself, which was
built and is maintained by the non-profit Mike Walden
Velodrome Fund.

“The success of the track comes from its volunteers
and its programs,” said Manderfield. “My emphasis is
to continue that while we develop a short & long term
marketing program to take the Velodrome to the next
level. If you haven’t seen the Velodrome or the
racing on it, you are missing out…and I am determined
that no one misses out.”

Manderfield is a student at Oakland University and in
the fall will continue her studies at Lees McRae
College in North Carolina in the field of Sports
Management. The Velodrome and NAS-TRACK offices are
located at 407 ½ Main Street Rochester, Michigan.

Velodrome at Bloomer Park, located at the end of John
R in Rochester Hills, just north of Avon Road. She
