beginning next tuesday night at 7pm the DETROIT 6 DAY!

HISTORY - In 1928, 40,000 fans went to the DETROIT 6 DAY at Olympia Stadium
(also home of the Red Wings) in downtown Detroit. A rider named Jimmy Walthour
who just turned Pro after signing a five year contract with the PRO LEAGUE for
$100,000.
raced his second Pro 6 Day here in Detoit . He won his first race - the Chicago
6 Day the week before. It was a time when track racing and madison racing was
at its PEAK. The Finale was
the NEW YORK 6 DAY where all of Broadway, all the STARS partied and enjoyed
watching
a terrific sporting game!
