Thank you Dale!
Guys, he's exactly right. you might think your tired, you might not, either
way keep training!
Today, I want to do the following
-100m jumps in a 94-96" gear (Juniors 92")
-15min session lapping the group, same gear, riders dropping in and out of the
group that is at speed on the black.
- 2 x flying 2k efforts.
The bigger gear will wear us out fast, and this will hurt tomorrow.
Tomorrow,
3 x 15min Motor paced points race 15min. you know this one. 92" gear.
one group the bike will be at 30mph, the other group it will be at 26mph.
As for me, I might be late today because of work, I hope not too late... I'm
in Ann Arbor working with the boss today... After 2 weeks off, I'm forced to
work!
One more thing... Good job to everyone this past weekend. I can see that we
have passed the guys from london in Fitness, where last year they were ahead.
Good job! You should be happy to have made such a big improvement this year.

Hello Riders,
Congratulations on riding and competing in the NAS-TRACK/UIV 3 DAY. You proved
to everyone that you are truly world class Madison racers. I am very proud of
your effort, sportmanship and flat out racing ability.
Tonight and tomorrow Elite Coach Danielle DeFranceschi will be at our track to
conduct the next level of training. Now you might think you are tired and have
peaked for the season BUT you are NOT tired and have not peaked.
So be at tonights training session for 2 reasons:
1.) Elite Coach and Rider Danielle is leaving for Mexico on saturday to compete
in the PanAm Games Track Championships. You (WE) owe it to Danielle to give back
to him a high level training session before he leaves for the PanAm Games.
2.) You owe it to yourself to rise to the next level - and that means continue
to train on the track at an even higher level. Yes, your body can take challenge
and it will respond by becoming faster and stronger.
3.) Iggy and Lanelle are returning for our DETROIT 6 DAY. That will be the final
tune-up before Collegiate Track Nationals and Elite Track Nationals. We need to
send 3 Madison teams to these Championships. Our goal is to find some funding to
support your travel costs.
See ya tonight and tomorrow, 5:30pm - 8;30pt workout.
