Hi Meredith:
I use my track bike on my roller without resistance for warm up, and sometimes
I'll put it on my Travel Track resistance trainer with variable resistance if my
road bike is not available for interval training.
Key is to get a trainer which will give you the ability to change resistance on
the handle bar, so you can do workouts with varying cadence (I.e. muscle tension
workouts with low cadence, high resistance vs foot speed work with high cadence,
low resistance)
You can also get a trainer with no variable resistance, and do sprint intervals.
But you will be limited in the types of intervals you can do.
I'm poor, so I tend to go for products from Performance. Cyclops products are
great, so I hear.

Does anyone use their track bike on a trainer? If so, do you have
recommendations for a trainer?
Thanks!
Meredith
