The VeloCity Tour was started as a way to give bicycle couriers and other urban
cyclists (many who ride track bikes in everyday traffic) a chance to compete on
a real track. Competitors will challenge themselves and others in a variety of
races including Matched Sprints, Miss and Out and
Team Pursuit. The overall female and overall male winners (messengers only) of
each VeloCity will win airfare to the Cycle Messenger World Championships in
Toronto in June. The top non-messengers will win prizes as well. See
