Two former Velocity players just returned from a trip to Europe with their college teams.

Danielle Lau , Velocity U15-U18, 2003-07,  spent 10 days touring  Ireland and playing 4 games against Irish clubs.  Husson College had 4 matches against GMIT, UCC ( Cork) and 2 against FIA, winning 3 of the 4 games. The teams they played against are second division college level.

Tara Moore, Velocity U15-U18, 2003-07, spent 10 days touring Italy with the Simmons College team.  Simmons played 2 games, their first match was with a Serie B professional team, which is the second highest level of women's soccer in Italy. The final match was a hard fougt a 2-1 loss to Spello,  a third division womens pro team. Simmons played well with the crowds cheering "Go U.S.A." and "We love America"
