The 2007 high school soccer season opened yesterday (8/31) with several current and former Velocity players figuring in the scoring.

Cathy Wise, Velocity U-15 2003-2004, scored the opening goal along with 2 assists to lead Cheverus to a 6-2 victory over Massabesic.

Kaylie Perrin, Velocity U12 - U13 2004-2006, had a goal as Gorham defeated Deering 5-0.

Jess Boynton, Velocity U13 - U16 2003-2007, provided the game winning assist as Thornton defeated South Portland.  Jess Stewart,  Velocity U13 2003-2004, also added a goal and an asist in Thorntons 3-2 victory.

Courtney Ross, Velocity U12 - U15, 2004-2007, had nine saves for Sacopee Valley, in their 2-0 loss to North Yarmouth Academy
