I have attached the application and information on the annual Monterey Bay
Multisport Poker Bike ride. It takes place on sept 27( sunday) from Chamisal
Fitness Club. There are 2 rides to choose from- a 50 miler and a 25 miler. Each
course is on the road and starts and ends at Chamisal. A? chicken BBQ is
included with the fee. We also put on a huge raffle with many great cycling give
aways ( along with other stuff)! The Poker ride is our only fund raising
opportunity for the MBM Junior High Performance Triathlon Team. MBM just
completed the 2009 season of racing nationally and regionally. The Monterey Bay
Multisport Junior Team finished 2009 as the second ranked elite junior team in
the nation!! Members of the team ( including 12-19 yr olds) race at pan american
championships,elite world championships in Australia( coming up in sept),
Nationals in Colorado Springs, and other asst events in California and all over.
The Poker Ride is appropriate for all riders!! The course covers corral di
tierra, san benancio, toro park, river road and some of laurelas grade and
highway 68.
