The Monterey County Bicycling Advocacy Group will hold its fifth
monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the First National
Bank Community Room inside the Pacific Capital Bancorp building, 307
Main St. in Oldtown Salinas (parking on street or in the back, enter
front door of building on Main Street between Rabobank and Westaff, use
stairs).

Everybody who is interested in improving conditions for bicyclists in
Monterey County is invited to attend. A representative from the
Transportation Agency for Monterey County will present bicycle projects
included in their proposed county sales tax for transportation. Also a
representative from the Monterey County Public Works Department will
present details of the proposed new bicycle bridge to be built across
the Salinas River adjacent to Highway 68.
