Interesting, what about meal times. how do your ideally plan on scheduling
those?

yes, I too agree with all mentioned here
Without sleep....deep sleep, your immune system is taxed and you will just
continue to tear down and not rebuild
those hours mentioned are right on
I go to bed between 9-10pm and get up by 5am then train at 7
works well for me unless I had a wrestless crappy night sleep

Hi Matt,
Sleep is beneficial to all body ststems, I read from more than one source,
including a natural health medical doctor, and staying up all night I have read
weakens the immune system; I know it does mine. Further, from more than one
source, including a personal trainer - professional athlete, sleep before
midnight is more beneficial than sleep after midnight. For one thing, I was told
the adrenals get helped in the body's rhythm from 10-12. In Chinese Medicine the
gall bladder and liver organs, for cleaning the body, are most active from 11-1
and 1-3 respectively. THen comes lungs 3-5 which is why I am told meditators get
up at 4 am, and go to sleep by 9 pm. I always feel better going to sleep in the
earlier evening, and I was a person who stayed up all night for a long time, or
stayed up to 1-3 pm aworking on articles and I sure felt bad the next day. Even
when I was in college years ago I wasn't as sharp.
For anyone interested in information about Chinese Medicine acupuncture and
organ meridians, and health, here are a few links I have found.

Hello,
So i was wondering, we do all or at least most of our growing and
repairing during sleep, so is it better to work out right before bed,
or right when you wake up?
I have been pulling all nighters and just wondering if there is
anything detrimental about going to the gym on less then the normal
amount of sleep.
