Here are some sites I found (or have been passed on to me) about vegan
athletes dietary needs, also couple of recipe pages that I thought might be
useful to the newer vegan (or people looking for something different to
eat). Now, be sure & check out each recipe yourself to make sure that it's
appropriate to your dietary needs at the moment.
If anyone else knows any other sites that might be of interest, why not post
them so we can all take a peek :-)

PS I don't necessarily agree with all the views held below, but I thought
they are all worth reading so you can decide. If anyone's got any queries,
observations or views about any of these sites I'd love to hear them...

And from Dr. Ruth Heidrich, who is a certified fitness trainer and holds 3
world records for fitness for her age group at the renowned Cooper Clinic in
Dallas, Texas. She is a senior now, but still actively competes in marathons
and triathlons, having won more than 800 trophies and medals.

In her article, she addresses the popular myths about protein and says:
"...if you want to develop a muscle, you have to overload it by putting more
stress on it than it can handle. This is the ONLY way a muscle will get
bigger and stronger."
& of course an interesting page from our very own Jack Norris
