Longer ago than I care to remember, I researched the nutrition benefits of vegan
foods and found that, on balance, peanuts were an astonishingly rich and
inexpensive form of protein, vitamins, minerals and oils.
Now that I'm into weight-training again, I'm astonished by the little
attention peanuts receive. Can someone please explain why we go overboard on
soya and pea protein, yet generally ignore the humble peanut?
