Hi all,
Had a really good squat day yesterday. Now the squat is my worst move. I
take every squat day as a personal challenge. I've not got great leverage
during squatting compared to most & I find it a very tricky move to find the
'groove' to, but yesterday it felt GOOD (in a leg quivering, heart pumping,
lungs screaming sort of way), strangely enough as I sat down later I got a
message from Robbie Hazeley that once again gave me a bit of perspective.
He is a master of that illusive bodybuilding talent INTENSITY. Now, I hope
you don't mind Robbie, but I thought I clip a bit of your E-mail & pass it
on the everyone on the list as it gives them a glimpse of what real
intensity is like...
"...Pain/pleasure at the same time i had forgot how good leg pressing is
there was that much blood in my quads they looked bruised,on last drop i
fell back into the machine my legs were shaking so much what a rush ace...."
On the VBB.org site there's a piece called simply "Leg day" that explains a
lot about why Robbie has got where he is today.
For those in the West of the UK (or willing to travel there) I believe
Robbie is competeing in the Mr West Britain Masters contest in April (pass
on the details Robbie!), why not go along & give him some encouragement!!!
