Re: [veganbodybuilding] Chech him out

Joni isn't exactly 100% muscle, but he's a BIG lad!
Just checked that site, looks like a good style, yea & having vests too!  Now there's an idea???  Yea, if you could get your mate to have a think & maybe we could talk off-list to sort out details?
If you're really interested I could sort out a 'work in progress' section'.  Do you reckon that would encourage more people to get involved or do you think just your own section & mention that you're not the finished article yet???  Hmm, have to think about that?  Hopefully people can give us their thoughts as they come on-line over the next 24 or so?
I wouldn't be worried too much about size, other factors like definition, natural peak etc play a big part in how someone's gonna look, also natural size takes anything up to a decade of training to get to really big & defined looking & to be honest the extreme endomorphs & ectomorphs have a massive job, one to get defined & not look like a blob, & the other to get the mass.  Me, I'm an extreme ectomorph who's come over to BBing from distance running background.  I've literally worked for years training my muscles to be small, my fat real low, & my size minute!  Now I've gotta try to fight all those years of training to get the exact opposite.  I need to get my fat up to encourage muscle mass growth, slow down, eat much more protein & keep the carbs, fat (only healthy fat, no junk) at reasonable proportions.  Very slow putting on muscle & one slip in the old diet & BANG the weight crashes, so I'm a bit paranoid about eating (I eat 6-8 times during the day & up to two 30gram protein shakes- protein, water & a hint of carbs, during the night), I eat about 2 cheat meals a week & I'm simply on mass building, once I get the size I'm after I'll lean down (I can't see that being a problem as things stand at the moment :-).
Opps, drifted of subject a bit (I do that sometimes).
Yea, send me some pics & a bit about yourself (training, diet & anything else you fancy really) & I'll get you put up (If your E-mailing pics 72DPI is the ideal resolution for using on the net).
Talking of eating I'm going off-line for a bit to get some grub to munch & some Soya milk to slurp it down with :-)YUM
Speak to ya later,

I might just do that. Thanks. It would be a good motivational tool to be a 'work in progress' on your site. Anyone want to join me? I don't want to be put next to 100kg Joni - that could be embarrassing! I'm still in the 80's.

Thanks for that mate.  But I reckon I get even more help from all you guys & gals writing to me than I can give with just a few pages, some of the stories are inspirational!  Gonna be putting some articles up on several training related subjects & I'm hoping that some of you might feel the urge to put pen to paper (or is that pixel?) & do some pieces about yourselves or anything to do with training - you don't have to be a champ to be on the VBB pages it was actually designed to show that REAL people can get strong & into shape while eating vegan.  So, if you want to really motivate yourself for the next year, get yourself a few pics, write done your training & you can put yourself up as a 'work in progress', then by updating every few months or so, everyone can see how your improving as you go along, now THAT is real motivation, the whole world watching!!!!!!
See ya,
