RE: [veganbodybuilding] Falling off wagon - help with snacks

http://www.veganbodybuilding.org/recipes.htm has Joni's homemade protein
bars that might be good for you? Also planning your feeds, so you always
have things with you when you're going some where can be a life saver! It's
one of the real pains about being vegan that it's harder to get stuff that's
high in protein out very easily. Nuts are quite good, if you're not worried
about the added fat content, so don't go mad unless your thin. Houmous is
pretty good, so is tahini & good old peanut butter :-). Flapjacks can be
ok, but aren't always vegan, so check the ingredients out. Avocado works
good, but once opened can go brown pretty quick, olives are really good if
you can find a type you like. Hopefully, that's given you a few ideas.
The ideas of Renee's are good too.
I'm sure some of the other more creative cooks can give you some fab ideas.
Let us know how you get on & if you find some foods that work for you.

Subject: [veganbodybuilding] Falling off wagon - help with snacks

Running a few days a week and also lifting weights makes me really
hungry. I have slipped a few times and have eaten some animal
protein. YUCK!! Anyway, no regrets tomorrow is a new day. However
can you please help me? I need some ideas on snacks. We as
bodybuilders need to eat throughout the day and I am really at a loss
as to what choices I can make to make this process more satisfying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards
