Hey all, we're planning a ride on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Our
plan is to meet in front of TRECS/the aquatic center. Don't know how
far to go, probably just get a feeling from everyone when we get there.

Last week it was announced we would have a second meeting to pay dues
and turn in insurance card copies. When will that be on Thursday, or
will the meeting happen this week at all? Also, Id like to get a road
ride going soon but coming from Michigan, I have no clue where some
good roads are. So far the roads here that I have seen are anything
but the wide and visible stretches of road through farm land/corn
fields that Im used to.

I want to personally thank everyone who participated in this road
season.  We had an amazing turnout, i'm thinking we had at least 11
people race this year.  We had some really good placings this year,
and i've loved watching everybody give it there all and get better.  I
hope everybody enjoys there semester and is able to race or do some
sweet rides.  IF your interested in mtn. biking season will probably
begin sept. 15-16 and strong interest has already been shown.  Last
but not least there will be Sports Club Party on Monday 30th, 4-7 pm.
  It should be a lot of of fun, free food, music, volleyball, frisbee
golf.  More importantly there have been several nominations for club
MVP so come and see if you got the award!  OK talk to you guys later Sean

Hey guys I'm headed up early as hell tomorrow morning to watch the TT
in Chattanooga up lookout mtn.  Anyone who wants to ride with me is
welcome to... I'll be riding my bike up the course to try and find a

Hey guys I hope everyone who has gotten to participate this season has
really enjoyed it.  I know I have!  I want to thank everyone for
making it such a great season I don't think the UT cycling Team has
seen this many riders and results since the early 90's when M.C.
hammer was popular.  So in other words we've come a long way.  Its
been great hanging out with everybody on our trips, its definitely my
favorite part.

Anyway, the last race of the season is this coming weekend in
Franklin, TN, on 21-22.  Both the road race and criterium are double
points.  I think the road course is supposed to be pretty sweet!  If
your interested just let me know by tomorrow at like 8 pm.  Thanks Sean

Ok so its looking like we will leave Saturday at 9 am.  At this point
we need to figure out the logistics.  Myself, Blair, and Ryan Thomas
have done a bulk of the driving for this season so i'm asking someone
else to step and drive, it shouldn't be that bad considering its not
that far and we always split gas fairly.  Also i'll be guiding the
UTOP friday ride as usual it starts at 3:00 at the outdoor program,
just come in the loading dock.  This will be a great way to ride
together and make sure everyone knows everybody since we have a few
