Hi everyone. This year's dan grading test dinner will take place at 6pm
on Saturday, October 2nd at the Real Thailand restaurant (350 Bloor
West, just west of Spadina). Everyone is encouraged to come. Please
email me if you're planning to attend, so I can make an accurate
reservation at the restaurant.

For those of you who are new to the club, our dan (black belt) grading
is held annually during the August long weekend. We usually have a
dinner in October at which the results are announced and the new dan
ranks are conferred. Everyone is invited (i.e. the dinner is not
restricted to black belts and soon-to-be black belts). It's always a
fun evening, and if you're new, it's a perfect time to get to know
people. Most importantly, it's a chance to celebrate the efforts and
achievements of those who graded this summer.
