Hey everyone!!! Summer camp is coming up in one and a half week and the weather forecast looks wonderful so far!!! Hope you are all excited!!! I've compiled a list here of the things that you will want to bring with you. Make sure you double check as you prepare for the camp. Things to bring: - as many gi's as you can carry - running shoes for outdoors - slippers or sandals for indoors - at least one shirt, one short pant (above knee).  We may have workout not in karate gi
- one long track pant. We may have some workout out-doors - water bottle (EXTRA IMPORTANT!!!) - swimming gear if you want to visit the pond (optional) - coat hangers to hang up your gi's for drying (optional)
- alarm clock - sleeping bag/blanket, pillow (mattresses are available at the farm) - toothpaste, toothbrush, personal hygiene items - towel(s) for drying yourself. Note: HH farm does not have shower facilities. - personal medication/aspirins/tylenol/advil - or whatever works for you - tensor bandages if you think you're going to need them and/or sports tape - games/cards/books/music - fun things to do during your spare times.
- there will be snacks available. But definitely bring your own if you have meal restrictions General training Schedule 6:00am - 6:30am - Wake up 7:00am - 9:00am - 1st workout 11:00am - 1:00pm - 2nd workout 3:00pm - 5:00pm - 3rd workout
** Monday workout are shorter Between workouts, we will have meals and time to relax. Our meal captains are working hard planning you meals. Everyone is expected to help out with at least one meal preparation and meal clean up. After the last workout, those who are not grading for black belts are expected to help the farmer with simple chores around the farm before dinner. We may be sharing Hart House Farm with other people. While I've no doubt that they are all friendly people, you should still be cautious with your valuables and belongings. If you are going to be bringing anything expensive (ie. camera), be careful not to leave it lying around. I'll send out the car pool, meal and cleanup crew assignments in future emails.
