We are very excited to send you the general by-laws that we have been working on for months with several legal consultants to better fit our association. Please review and send any questions you might have so we can clarify prior to the SGM as much as possible. Lets give each other a full week, until next Friday, July 3rd, at which time we will then have it translated and put on the web site for all the membership to peruse prior to the SGM of July 22nd, 2009.
Remember that this is a very important change but that it is needed for our association to be able to move ahead with new challenges. All the input that we gathered through the strategic planning session and our questionnaires were taken into account, as well as the valuable input of legal consultants involved in the governance of amateur sport and not-for-profit organisations for the last 20 years.
Please read carefully and send your comments.
