Hey UTKC members,

More information for you guys regarding this Saturday's tournament.
Please feel free to email me back or talk to me after class tomorrow to
clarify.

1) ALL OUR events(novice,intermediate,black/kata, kumite) will be in
the afternoon, so come around 12:15pm to change and warmup. The
tournament starts at 10:00am for the children divisions.

2) REQUIRED Equipment: Kata: a reasonable sized gi(DUH!) Kumite: mouth
guard, jock strap, gloves, no glasses(soft contacts). (shin pads, food
pads are recommended)-If any equipment is deemed invalid, you will not
be allowed to compete( no money back too..hehe)

3) Volunteers: Whoever agreed to volunteer(you know who you are!),
please come to the Gym at 9:45am so you guys can help set-up and we
will also give you positions to fill(help with the timing, scoring,
etc). My group(who is in my car), we will be there at ~9:15am.

4) Demonstrators: We plan to do the demos at 12:45pm. IF possible,
come at 12:00pm to warm-up.

5) There is ONE shower for people who really need it, I am not sure how
it is but that is what they told me...

6) Whoever is bringing food for the party after, Jay has given us some
coolers and also after 12:45pm(lunch), there will be fridge space
available.

Sorry to spam you guys but your tournament directors have been quite
busy these weeks getting things confirmed(presenting in a
conference,having your graduate committee meeting and planning all this
at the same time really tests your time management ;p)
