Hi Everyone,

Kagami Biraki is fast approaching. For those of you who are
unfamiliar with Kagami Biraki, it is one of the most important
events for the UTKC, it is a celebration of the Japanese Martial
Arts New Year. It represents a reflection of the past year's
accomplishments and gives people the opportunity to determine their
goals for the upcoming year. Awards will also be presented to
members for outstanding achievements. All members, past and present
are encouraged to attend, and guests are also welcome.

Location: Toko Bistro & Bar, located at the corner of Yonge & Isabella (just south of Bloor/Yonge subway station).

Students $25.00 (guest or member)
Non-Students $30.00 (guest or member)

Just come see me in class to sign up. These prices are good until January 8th,
afterwards the cost will be an extra $5. If you wish to attend Kagami,
but are unable to attend class between now and January 8th, please

In addition to observing the past traditions of Kagami Biraki, joke
awards will also be presented. If anyone would like to present a
joke award to another member of the club, please email me your
suggestion and what you feel is an appropriate award.
