Hello everyone, just a reminder that the Inter-University Tournament
at Laurentian University in Sudbury Ontario is still scheduled for
Saturday March 3rd, 2007. Start time will be 12:00 noon. The cost of
this tournament is $10.00 per competitor and I will be taking sign-ups
and money starting this week. There is no charge for coaches,
officials and spectators. The deadline for sign-ups and payment is
Saturday February 24th. Remember, this is an overnight trip. We will
be going up to Laurentian on Saturday morning and heading back to
Toronto on Sunday morning, so keep the 3rd and 4th of March free. I
would also like to offer a special invitation to all white belts to
come out to this tournament. If you have never competed before, this
is a good tournament to get your feet wet at because the rules and
regulations of competition are reviewed. I will let everyone know
about hotel/motel accommodations for the night of March 3rd once I get
a better idea of how many people will be attending. Don't forget
black belts, we need you as coaches and officials.
