Hello everyone, there are a few events coming up that may seem a long
way off, but as all university or former university students know, a
month can go by very quickly. There are two major events coming up
that everyone should mark on their calendars.

1. Inter-University Tournament: This tournament will be taking place
at Laurentian University in Sudbury on Saturday March 3rd, 2007.
Setup/warm up will be at 12:00 noon, Bow in/competition will be from
1:00PM - 6:00PM. There is also a dinner/social event planned for
Saturday evening after the tournament. The cost of this tournament
will be $10.00 per person. There will be no charge for spectators,
coaches or officials. This is going to be an overnight trip so keep
Sunday March 4th open as well. I will let everyone know about hotel
costs and accommodations shortly as well as transportation
arrangements. I encourage all white belts to come out to this
tournament. It is a good tournament to get your feet wet at if you
have never competed before, because we review competition rules and
regulations. We are also going to need black belts as coaches and
officials.

2. Spring Camp has been officially booked for Saturday April 7th and
Sunday April 8th. You might want to keep the evening of Friday April
6th free as well for driving up, as it might be difficult to drive up
to camp early Saturday morning (you would likely have to wake up at 3
or 4 AM to make it on time). More announcements on Spring Camp to
follow soon. For now, just keep the weekend of April 7th and 8th free.
