Buffalo Beach, Sulphur was the Sunday call   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #14 of 406 |
Kinda cool name, glad I thought of it...Sunday, Sept 5, Sulphur
Creek, 7.0, Hypersonic
Sparkling day, no clouds, looked cold at 11;30 but the water is much
warmer than expected. No boats, no chop except for Ken Onstott
ripping on his 6.9. Troy Jorgenson got his skunk factor off his
back,George rode a 6.0, Jeff McBride,super Rookie had only a big
smile, had NO wetsuit nor harness on the START and lasted 2hrs, could
have been the Buffalo Burger Fuel. I managed to bust another mast on
my first run, resorted to rescue/tow/idiot mode. Up n down wind but
it was still blowing at 5pm. Might be the call for Monday. Ken can
qualify, I thought it was probably 13-20k, felt light. ,
