Hi. Long time listener, first time caller; I love the show.

I've been building kites of one form or another for years, and I've
been most recently building kites to power kite with. I've recently
built smaller foils for landboarding, but I want very much to get some
larger sails together that will work for snowboarding at Skyline. I'm
planning on building an arc-style kite, but I'm curious what the best
size would be.

So, my question: what size inflatables are people using to good
effect? I would ideally like to be well-powered, but not really
overpowered. I don't think I'm going to be jumping this season.

Also, what are the snow conditions like up there? Powder? Icy?
Would a stiffer board be better for holding an edge or would a powder
board give a better ride?

Thanks for any responses.

-J
