I have been looking around to play this fall and have collected the
information below. Please add information about other leagues/open
gym/classes as you hear about them. --Chris
+++Open Gym:
Murray Park Center (5300 S State) has a gym with volleyball on Friday
nights from 7-10 PM. This runs from the fall-May (when outdoor season
begins). Cost is $20/6 visits or $5/one visit. Call them at (801)
284-4200 to see if things have restarted. 2-3 nets are setup there.
Level varies, although with multiple courts at least one is usually
competitive.

24hr fitness in Sugarhouse has volleyball for members from 7:30-9:30
or 10 PM every Wednesday throughout the year. 1 court, level varies.
Guests are $15.
+++Classes:
The SL public schools have volleyball classes for adults in the
evenings at some places.
Bryant Middle School –40 South 800 East,has a class on Wednesday
starting Sept 20-Nov 8 from 7-9 PM for $40. 18+ are welcome
Glendale Middle School –1400 W. Goodwin Ave, 1200 No.
has Monday meetings from Sept 18-Nov 13 running from 5-8 PM for "all
ages." $10 is the cost. Also Glenday Sept 20-Nov 19 on Wednesdays
from 5-8, $10 is the cost, "all ages".

For late registration, send Ralph an email and then show up with $30
on October 3. Everyone is welcome. They hope to have 2 pools of
teams--recreational and competitive.

Clearfield Park and Recreation is setting up a league. Women's games
are played on Tuesday and coed games are played on Wednesday beginning
the week of Sept. 18. There will be nine matches plus a double
elimination tournament. The cost is $185 per team and games will be
played at Clearfield High School. Register online at www.reconline.org
or by calling 801-525-2790. (The website makes it seem that this is
women only and the league is full, but you can call for details.)
