1. I was too lazy to walk back and grab my disc tonight, so if anyone has it
that would be super. It's a PADA disc- fall 2006.

2. For anyone who wasn't there tonight or who missed it-a bunch of drunk PA
students (including me, of course) will be hitting up the "fake" Murphy's
tomorrow night for karaoke if you'd like to join in some Tuesday debauchery.
The madness starts around 9 with $6 pitchers of Miller Lite, PRB and maybe
something else-last week is kind of a blur. If you don't feel like making a
fool of yourself on the mic, you can just come for the lovely dive atmosphere
(kind of like Cheers, on crack). It's on the corner of Henry and Roxborough,
like a block past Chubby's-big green sign and obnoxious Eagles blow up on the
roof, so you can't miss it. My cell if you have questions.... (973) 800-8635.

Peace out.

I saw that disc and assumed it was Evan's, I'm sorry Sarah! Hopefully someone
else grabbed it...

I will not be making it out tomorrow night as I've got class. I hate night
classes. To all those going or at least don't have class have fun and I hate
you all. See ya!

So I watch ultimate almost everyday at lunch on youtube and this video has a good example of zone offense and defense, especially the cup/handlers.  Notice how well shaped and tight the cup is early in the vid and how it looks ragged at the end.  When playing zone you have to maintain discipline and shape and when attacking it you need patience to wear it down.

You guys are more then welcome to as much as I know and can impart. If
you all are willing we can continue to drill before playing, and I
would suggest it considering it took 40 throws or more before we could
get 10 in a row. Hopefully that with more efficient warm up time will
have Sarah seeing the game results she wants! ; ) I am heartened that
decision making and patience have not been major issues as yet for you
guys. You will need a lot of disipline to match up against teams with
more athleticism and/or experience. Physical mistakes are going to
happen. We will stumble and fall, have discs slip from our grasp, have
throws go awry but the mental errors, the throws we shouldn't have put
up, the discs we don't read well or decisions made hastily, those
errors can and should be critiqued and corrected whenever possible.
Let us begin in earnest, we have about a month before we host the
tourney.

Hey,
It's the Masterman Highschool Danny who played with you guys this
morning. It was very fun indeed, only my 4th or 5th time playing real
ultimate, so I'm still in need of a little practice. It was fun
though, and I should be coming next week to play pickup with you guys.

We could do that but only if we have enough field space for the number of teams.

E

we should invite penn charter too then.

If you have a chance, how many usable paces are there across the width of the

Our soccer field should be able to fit two width's easily, but the
lengths'll probably be a bit short. Not necessarily a bad thing for
us, haha. My guess would be that they'd be Mikey size, only wider.

Nov 17th. The following are some potential teams that could compete
at our event: Wharton (PENN school of Business), PENN Law,
Masterman (high school team!), Upennpickup team, and Drexel's team.
That's SIX teams - each of which could have an "A" and a "B" team.
Our soccer field can't handle that many! I'll take some
measurements of fields at our school and nearby and make a
declaration of "how many" teams can compete.

enough time for a game before the cafeteria closes. Alternatively,
(or perhaps either way) get some extra food from breakfast.

I think the weather is supposed to be great this evening but I WON'T be playing
tonight. I will be heading down to PENN to drum up interest in OUR TOURNAMENT
on Sat. Nov 17th! If we're lucky, we'll get Drexel's team out here and whoever
else can come out!
