Interesting fact from his life...After his first battles (as AFL founder), with
the NFL:

Hunt, as owner of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Tornado, clashed
with the traditional NFL power structure in the late '60's after the NASL was
established.

NFL owners began challenging the right to cross-ownership of professional
teams, and Hunt was one of the NFL/NASL owners who took issue with being told
what to do by the NFL.
The NASL filed an antitrust lawsuit against the NFL, and WON their case,
clearing the way for mutli-sport ownership policies that are still followed, and
rules in effect as of today.
