The U.S. Men's National Team continued its own version of "March Madness" Saturday, mastering the 'Albuquerque region' with a 1-0 win over Honduras at University Stadium.
(they continue the 'maddening' schedule with two more matches yet to go in March...)
Ed Johnson scored the lone goal of today's international friendly, finishing the rebound from
a long-range Clint Mathis shot that hit the crossbar and stayed in play in front of goal just minutes before halftime.
The win is the third straight for the U.S. to open 2005 and adds to an unbeaten streak dating over a year, now standing at 16 games (11-0-5) since the team's last loss in February 2004 (1-0 in Holland). Full details, pics, match stats : http://www.ussoccer.com
