MLS to stage this final as a replacement for the current All Star
game? This could then put the USOC final on ABC in its place. The
league could still have all the All Star activities climaxing with a
game of significance. What if an amateur or USL team could make the
USOC final? Would that make the game more compelling to the American
viewing public? Cinderella really is only possible in the NCAA
tournament and not in any US professional sport.

(2) Should the USOC winner be granted a CONCACAF Champions Cup slot?
This would add to the significance of the tournament games since the
Champions Cup winner would get an invite to the theoretical World Club
Championship.
