Sports Illustrated, focusing on his recent Sierra Mist
TV commercial shoot with Pele, the superstar he is
being compared to.

Adu will be the highest-paid player in Major League
Soccer (a guaranteed $500,000 for each of the next
four seasons). In fact, Pepsi paid him more for doing
the commercial with Pele than many MLS players make in
a season.
