Battery heads to Washington, DC for U.S. Open Cup Final
Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery heads to Washington, DC
Wednesday for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final versus MLS's DC
United (RFK Stadium, 7:30 PM, FOX Soccer Channel). This is the
Battery's first appearance in the National Championship game and the
first by a USL side since the Rochester Raging Rhinos lifted the
trophy in 1999.
