BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (May 8, 2008) – The Chicago Fire announced today
they will play a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play-in game on Tuesday,
June 10, at Bradley University's Shea Stadium in Peoria, Ill. Kick-
off for the game will be 7:00 p.m. CT.

Real Salt Lake and the Columbus Crew are scheduled to play May 27 to
determine the Fire's opponent for the game. The winner of the June 10
game advances into the round of 16 in this year's U.S. Open Cup.

Tickets for the game go on sale May 14 only through the Bradley
Athletic Department's official website – www.bradleybraves.com – or
at the Shea Stadium Box Office in Peoria. Tickets are priced at $25
for assigned seating in the main bleachers and $15 for general
admission lawn seating beyond the endlines.

The Chicago Fire has won four Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups (1998, 2000,
2003 and 2006) and finished as the runner-up in the 2004 edition of
the tournament.

Located at the site of the former Pete Vonachen Stadium at Meinen
Field at 1523 W. Nebraska Avenue in Peoria, Ill., Shea Stadium has
served as the home field for Bradley Soccer since 2003. The Braves
have hosted two NCAA Tournament first-round games (2005 and 2007), as
well as 12 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament games, at Shea
Stadium.
