January 2, 2007 ATTENTION SHOW MANAGERS: TEST OF CHOICE DOES NOT COUNT! TOC'S cannot be used in place of an FEI Jr or FEI YR Freestyle class in Official USDF NAYRC/NAJC Qualifiers. Please note the following requirements: The FEI Young Rider Team Test and the FEI Junior Team Test must be scheduled on the day prior to the FEI Young Rider Prix. St. Georges and the FEI Young Rider Freestyle Test, and the FEI Junior Individual and FEI Junior Freestyle Tests. Show management must insure an equal number of rider slots are available for both the Team and Individual classes. USDF requires that the FEI Young Rider Freestyle and FEI Junior Freestyle are added to the list of classes offered (please note that the FEI Young Rider Freestyle and the FEI Junior Freestyle is open only to Young Riders or Juniors respectively). The Freestyles must be offered as their own separate classes, and not as an FEI Freestyle Test of Choice. The FEI Young Rider Prix St. Georges and FEI Junior Individual class should be offered as its only class and not as an FEI Test of Choice class. If the FEI Junior or Young Rider rides in a TOC class in lieu of the Official Qualifying class, they will receive a zero for the entire competition for qualifying purposes. Please double check your prize lists to make certain that you have the correct classes for these riders. Note: An FEI Junior or Young Rider may choose to ride in a TOC class as a warm up in addition to the official USDF Qualifying classes. The scores from the TOC class will not count for qualifying purposes, nor will they count for satisfying the Freestyle requirement.
