thanks.  i have found a product on line that seems like it should work.  they are steel spikes which can be attached to trusses  and or cross beams and seem to have good results in discouraging the birds from roosting.  will look into this

i purchased two fake owls and the pigeons built lovely nest quite close to the fake owls....

I thought I heard that sometimes falconers will come hunt them in the barn to give rehab birds the experience too, but I wouldn't know how to find someone that...

I too have a 16 foot high arena. You can buy rifle shells for .22 rifles that are loaded with shot rather than a single projectile. This shot will not...
