Dear KCDS Members,

          As I hope you are aware, Nov. 5th is the date that rooms will be released at the Crown Center and that registration increases by 20% after Nov. 5th. I am hoping for a huge turnout from Region 4 dressage supporters as this is the first convention in 30 years. The symposium with Ingrid Klimke and the veterinarian is said by others to be outstanding.  In order to have other opportunities like this in our region, we need to support this one.

 

          The Region is having a booth. We need volunteers for that and silent auction items for the region's treasury. Any one could bring a silent auction item. Many GMOs are giving us one, but PMs would be welcome. We use the money for sponsoring scholarships for juniors, for supporting other programs that will be decided in Region 4 meetings held during the convention and open to all interested Region 4 members. Any ideas about silent auction items could be sent to me, as we will need to get bid sheets ready. Non -horsy suggestions are welcome. Please help us with this fund-raiser. I could use a volunteer to do a map of the region with our GMOs highlighted for the back drop for the booth.

 

             Landers Farms is sold and I will have a week long sale Dec. 10-17 of anything left. 12 X 12 Lodden Stalls, my dressage arena and a grain auger are the largest items. Check my web site for details and a sales list, or email me or call me.
