Region 4 is having a Silent Auction at the USDF Convention in Kansas City!

This year, Region 4 is host to the USDF Convention & Symposium, November 29 – December 3.  In addition to the USDF business meetings, there are educational sessions and of course the weekend Symposium with Ingrid Klimke.  It’s wonderful to have an educational event of this caliber in our own neighborhood, and I hope you can join us there!

Region 4, as the host, will have a booth at the convention & symposium.  We will be having a silent auction there to raise funds to support the Region 4 programs, with donations from GMOs and individuals.  Please consider making a donation to that silent auction.  The money we raise will go to support great programs here in Region 4.As a Region we can vote to support educational programs in your local group, the juniors and young riders traveling to the championships, and many other ideas as we build our treasury.

It will take help from all of us in Region 4 to make our silent auction a success.  Perhaps you’d like to donate a breeding to your stallion, or a training/lesson package.  Please also consider giving items that are not horse related.  Do you have a time share you won’t be able to use this year? That would be a great addition to the silent auction.  Perhaps your best friend does not ride, but owns a computer store, and could donate a laptop. I’m sure you will come up with many great ideas! 

The Region 4 booth will have some room to display information about the businesses and people that donate to the silent auction.  For example, we could play a short video or CD about your stallion or other donated product, or display pictures of the condo for the time share.  We want to recognize the great things that come from Region 4, and this is a wonderful way to do that!
