Hello,
My name is Brenda Wright. I am the cofounder of H.O.R.S.E. a 501(c)(3) non
profit organization founded in 2002 to use equine assisted therapy to help
children and families in the greater Kansas City area. Each week, we see an
average of 45 clients at our main location on the property of the Saddle &
Sirloin Club of KC, MO and our Odessa, MO location.
Whether our clients are here to get therapy to help them with emotional and
social issues or to develop skills that help them overcome the daily
challenges that autistic children endure, the interaction between horse and
human is powerful. For the last four years, our success has been measured in
the smiles of the clients and sighs of relieved parents who see their family
benefit from this unique form of equine assisted psychotherapy.
We are having our 2nd annual fundraiser, the Horse'n' Around Benefit Barn
Dance & Auction on September 16th at the Saddle & Sirloin Club. Last year,
over 300 people at the auction and dinner dance helped us to raise over
$34,000 to help us achieve our mission. This year we are sending 700
invitations and expect Kansas City's most avid horse lovers to attend. I
invite you to help our cause and share this invitation with your friends and
family at your facility. Or you could promote your business to many of the
"horse crowd" in the greater Kansas City area.
