Mike Smith (NDA) and I (DDE) are the GMO Council reps for Region 4. GMO officers (at least the President and the official GMO contact for USDF) should have received by now a form from the USDF office for you to designate GM delegates. The number of votes delegates have are dependent on the GMO size (i.e., members reported to USDF). The Region 4 GMOs and the current number of members they have per the USDF on-line rosters are given, below--
- Central States Dressage & Eventing Association: 683 members
- Kansas City Dressage Society: 278
- Nebraska Dressage Association: 128
- St. Louis Area Dressage Society: 99
- Iowa Dressage & Combined Training Association: 94
- Dakota Dressage & Eventing: 80
- Eastern Iowa Dressage and Eventing Association: 75
- Kansas Dressage and Eventing Association: 65
- Ozark Dressage Society: 60
- Columbia Dressage & Combined Training Association: 46
- South Dakota Dressage Society: 38
- Heartland Sporthorse Association: 32
We want to make sure that Region 4 is well represented during the annual meeting Board of Governors, especially since we host the next annual meeting. We are a small (per total memberships) region and every vote does count.
