Not a dumb question at all: Premarin is a drug given to help women
through menopause. I t is made from the urine of a pregnant mare. (Are
you starting to track the potentials for abuse here?) At most Premarin
farms mare are kept pregnant and in tiny stalls. Their bodily fluids
are "harvested, but their offspring are just extra mouths to feed. I
hope that I haven't upset you...
